Location : Chorley Date of hire? : 14th Fenruary 2012 N° of people in your group : 2 How did you first hear of Ellerbeck Narr : Fredricks ice cream parlour	I booked a boat for the day as an alternative valantines present for my partner, who loves photography. I was a little worried to the run up of the day due to the extreme cold weather which thawed out so we could have our day trip. We arrived at Ellerbeck at 9am and was met by Lucian who ran through what we needed to do with the barge and a general safety breifing which was not as boring as it sounds . The boat was very clean and well stocked with pots and pans and general cleaning equipment. Although it was cold outside we had a realy great day out and with a few cups of hot chocolate we warmed up quickly my fiancee got plenty of great shots to remember the day, We will definately be booking again but I think we will try in the summer months

The boats are first class, the service is excellent and the staff are friendly and helpful. All of this on an allocated stretch of canal that is tranquil and relaxing, what more do I need to say?

Location : Bolton Date of hire? : 19th June N° of people in your group : 7 How did you first hear of Ellerbeck Narr : Used previously when L&L Cruises were based there.	Had a great day along the canal, our party was 7 adults aged 55 - 86!! the boat " The Mirlees" was first class. It was clean, well stocked with plates, crockery etc etc. We had an excellent safety talk to begin with, even though we had done similar trips with other companies, which we really appreciated. In the time we had the boat we managed to get down to the Locks at Wigan and back to just before Botany Bay and return. This included a couple of stops for a short walk at Haigh Hall and mooring up for lunch. All in all an excellent day out which I would highly recommend to anyone. Highly recomended to anyone with an eye to spot gorgeous countryside relaxing on the canal. Thank you Ellerbeck for a truly great day.

(if applicable) : Unsure Date of hire? : May 2011 N° of people in your group : 3 How did you first hear of Ellerbeck Narr : Google Search -	Just to thank Ellerbeck Narrow Boats, 3 in our party, enjoyed a fabulous tranquil day out, in a quality narrowboat, clean and tidy with everything you require for a full day out. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and we also had an extra hour of hire too for extra £ - well worthwhile, would recommend to anyone, the attractions on the way are quite hit and miss or closed ( lol ) thank you once again, looking forward to hiring again in the future. Location : Wigan Date of hire? : 01 November 2010 N° of people in your group : 3 How did you first hear of Ellerbeck Narr : the link from the old trading name of 'L&L Cruisers'	I hired a day boat on 1st nov 2010, the customer service i recieved was beyond excellent. The staff knew what they were talking about and cared for your safety at all times. Questions you ask were answered in full no matter how small. Some questions even got answered with a demonstration (if applicable to the question). I will definately be hiring a narrowboat from Ellerbeck again and would 100% reccomend Ellerbeck narrowbats to anyone who is looking for an experience like no other.

From start to finish, the customer service and experience were fantastic. Friendly staff demonstrated the boat to us complete beginners with unlimited patience! The boats were clean and tidy, and were easy to steer after a few minutes. We would highly recommend the boats to everyone. What a lovely relaxing day. Thank you.

Location : Lancs Date of hire? : 17th July 2010 N° of people in your group : 10 How did you first hear of Ellerbeck Narr : online	We hired one of Ellerbecks boats for an evening for my husband's birthday and it was definately money well spent. Our party of 10 all had an enjoyable evening and our dog Max also had a great time jumping on and off the boat. Thanks to Lucien and the staff at Ellerbeck for a friendly briefing prior to sailing,the boat had everything on board that we could have needed and was kept neat, tidy and in good working order. We would definately reccomend Ellerbeck to our friends for an unforgettable night out. Many thanks.x

(if applicable) : DBB1109010 Date of hire? : 27th June 2010 N° of people in your group : 4 How did you first hear of Ellerbeck Narr : Internet search	Thought I'd just drop you a line to say how much we all enjoyed our trip on Sunday, I'm pretty sure that we'll be doing it again. Thank you for running through all the procedures and refreshing the old brain. Maureen and I have been talking about how it's rekindled our love of the waterways and how we will in all probability have another holiday on a narrowboat. I would certainly recommend your company to friends and colleagues looking for that "something different" kind of day out.
