Our quality rebuilt BMC engines are built to a very high standard, and offer exceptional value for money. We can build engines to your specifications to suit any application, from a half engine to a fully prepared engine and gearbox ready to install.

Notes

1. In all cases, other than complete power units, the following are the Customers responsibility: -

Ø      Inlet and exhaust manifolds and hoses;
Ø       Starter motor and alternator / dynamo;
Ø       Flywheel and bell housing;
Ø       Engine mounting feet.

2. All remanufactured units carry a 6 month / 500 hour parts and labour warranty.

The exchange prices quoted are subject to the exchange engine unit being in a suitable condition for remanufacturing.

Half engine

Cylinder block;
Crankshaft;
Bearing shells;
Connecting rods;
Pistons and rings;
Head studs;
Camshaft and followers;
Front end gear train and chain;
Front mounting plate;
Timing cover and front crank seal;
New oil pump and strainer;
Fuel injection pump driving spindle and hub;
Engine fully timed..

Three quarter engine
As Half engine plus:
  Fully reconditioned cylinder head;
  Pressure tested;
  New valves, guides, springs, core plugs;
  Rocker gear and rocker cover.

Full engine
As Three quarter engine plus:
  Reconditioned injection pump and injectors;
  Fuel lift pump, filter assembly and pipes;
  Heater plugs;
  Water pump and crankshaft pulleys;
  Oil filter assembly;
  Thermostat and housing;
  Fully bench run and tested

Ready to fit Power units

A fully remanufactured BMC 1.5 or BMC 1.8 complete with new PRM or Hurth gearbox, fully marinised and ready to install. Supplied as keel cooled.
