We have three 30 foot self steer Narrowboats for daily and evening hire.

 

Two are traditional style Narrowboats (“Ruston” - Red and “Crossley” - Green) and our new boat (“Mirlees” - Blue) is very similar with a semi traditional style hull they all have a large bow deck with plenty of seating to carry up to 10 passengers. 

 

The traditional style boats have stern deck suitable for two people with seating whilst cruising.  The semi traditional boat has a stern deck suitable for four or five people whilst cruising.

 

There is a life buoy should anyone fall overboard although most of the time it is possible to stand up on the bottom of the canal (Except by the locks, in turning points and where the canal has been freshly dredged).

 

Inside the boats there is interior seating with heating along with the following for 10 people:

 

· 2 or 4 burner hob and grill;

· Cookware (3 saucepans and a frying pan);

· Cutlery (knives, forks, tablespoons and teaspoons);

· Crockery (dinner plates, side plates and bowls);

· Mugs and glasses;

 

· Flushing toilet and cleaning facilities.

 

Boats are available for daily and evening hire.
